FOLLOW UP (Pagsunod sa Ginawa)

In the previous Week (Week 3), you have learned

about the important forms that job applicants and were
instructed to fill out sample forms for inclusion in your
Work Immersion portfolio. This gave you an idea the
number of requirements a job applicant has to
accomplish before applying for a job. Companies and
work places have a standardized set of requirements from prospective employees.

Noong nakaraang Linggo (Week 3), natutunan mo ang tungkol sa mga mahahalagang mga
forms o dokumento ng isang aplikante ng trabaho at pinagawa ng mga ilan sa mga tio na isasama
sa iyong Work Immersion Portfolio. Nagbigay ito sa iyo ng kaalaman tungkol sa mga
kinakailangang mga dokumento ng isang aplikante na dapat niyang makumpleto bago mag-apply
ng trabaho. Ang mga kumpanya at mga lugar ng trabaho ay mayroong nakalaang mga
kinakailangan para sa mga tatanggapin nilang empleyado.

It is expected that you have accomplished the forms and have uploaded them in your Work
Immersion Portfolio. It is imperative that you accomplish them in time for you to be able to proceed
to the next set of activities for the subject. In real life, you cannot proceed with your job application
or, if you are fortunate, be accepted and start working if you lack the necessary requirements.

Inaasahan sa iyo na nagawa at nakumpleto mo na ang mga dokumento at nailagay mo na

sa iyong Work Immersion Portfolio. Napakahalaga para sa iyo ang maisagawa ang mga ito sa
tamang panahon upang ikaw ay makapagpatuloy sa mga susunod na mga gawain ng araling ito.

Sa totoong buhay, hindi ka makakapag-apply ng trabaho o, kung pinalad ka, matanggap at
makapagsimula sa paggawa kung kulang ka pa sa mga kinakailangang dokumento.

LET’S RECALL (Balikan Natin)

You should be thankful if you get accepted in a job you applied for. Not all applicants get
accepted. Only those who are responsible and disciplined applicants land in good jobs (Dapat
magpasalamat ka kung ikaw ay matanggap sa trabahong in-applyan mo. Hindi lahat ng mga
aplikante sa trabaho ay natatanggap. Yung lang mga mapanagutan at disiplinadong mga
aplikante ang nakakapasok sa mga magandang trabaho).

1. Enumerate 3-5 good traits or characteristics a job applicant should have in order to be
successful in applying for a job. Give a short description for each (Isa-isahin ang tatlo
hanggang limang mga ugali o katangian na dapat mayroon ang isang aplikante ng trabaho
upang maging matagumpay sa pinapasukang trabaho). 6 points.

2. Based on your self-assessment, what particular traits you mentioned in no. 1 do you need
to work on in order to be a better job seeker. Cite way or ways on how to develop and/or
improve this trait or these traits (Batay sa sariling pagtingin, ano-anong sa mga ugali o
katangian na binanggit mo sa no. 1 ang kailangan mong pagtuunan ng pansin upang ikaw
ay mas maging mabuting applikante ng trabaho. Magbigay ka rin ng mga hakbangin
upang mapaunlad o mapabuti mo ang mga ulagi o katangiang ito). 4 points.

LET’S UNDERSTAND (Unawain Natin)

The Necessity and Importance of Your Work Immersion Portfolio (Ang Pangangailangan
at Kahalagan ng Iyong isang Work Immersion Portfolio)

Your Work Immersion Portfolio is not just any online collection of items that you put or
upload your output submissions. It needs to be organized (Ang isang aplikante ng trabaho sa
Pilipinas ay kailangang maghanda ng mga sumsunod):

1. Create and work on your activity outputs on time, don’t put it off or delay them. Avoid
procrastination.
Lumikha at gumawa ng iyong takdang gawain sa tamang panahon, huwag mong
ipagpaliban ito. Iwasan mong magpatumpik-tumpik sa mga gawain.
2. Label your activity outputs clearly and accurately for proper classification by writing or
encoding the date and Work Immersion Phase (Preliminary, Pre-Immersion, Immersion
Proper, Post-Immersion and Immersion Completion) of the output.
Lagyan ng pangalan o titulo ang iyong gawain na malinaw at tiyak para sa
pagkakakilanlan sa pamamagitan ng paglalagay ng petsa at Work Immersion phase
(Preliminary, Pre-Immersion, Immersion Proper, Post-Immersion and Immersion
Completion) ng iyong output.
3. Upload and submit clear and precise activity outputs either as pictures (jpeg or png),
screenshots, Word documents, pdf files.
Mag-upload at mag-submit ng mga klaro and tiyak ng mga gawain tulad ng mga pictures
(jpeg or png), screenshots, Word documents, pdf files.
4. If possible, arrange the presentation of your Work Immersion Portfolio contents in
chronological order based on the Work Immersion Phases as indicated in no. 2.
Kung kakayanin, ayusin ang pagkakalatag ng mga nilalaman ng iyong Work Immersion
Portfolio ayon sa pagkakasunod nito batay sa mga Work Immersion Phases na nasa no.

The contents of your Work Immersion Portfolio will be scored based on their compliance
accuracy, completeness and timeliness. The scores of your submissions will then be the basis for

grading. It is important that you give due attention and importance to your Work Immersion
Portfolio.

Ang mga nilalaman ng iyong Work Immersion Portfolio ay bibigyan ng naaayon na iskor
batay sa tiyak na pagsunod, pagkakumpleto at panahon ng pag-submit. Ang mga iskor naman
ang magiging batayan ng iyong grado. Nararapat lamang na bigyan mo ng pansin at
pagpapahalaga ang iyong Work Immersion Portfolio.

LET’S WORK (Gawin Natin)

1. Go back to your Work Immersion Portfolio Submissions, open them and apply the
correctness of the contents based on the LET’S UNDERSTAND (Unawain Natin)
discussion for today. Do the necessary revision or changes if needed for scoring
purposes.
Balikan mo ang mga sinabmit mo sa iyong Work Immersion Portfolio, buksan mo isa -isa
ang mga ito at ilapat o gawin ang mga pagtatama ng mga nilalaman batay sa
pagtatalakay ng LET’S UNDERSTAND (Unawain Natin) para sa araw na ito. Gawin mo
ang kailangang pagtatama o pagbabago kung kinakailangan para sa pag-iskor ng nito.

2. Watch the following videos from YouTube regarding Work Place safety and answer
the following template guide. Click open the YouTube video links as listed. Total 30
points.

a. List down the observed accidents that you have observed in the video (5 points).
Isa-isahin ang mga napagmasdang mga sakuna o aksidente mula sa video.
b. Write down the precautions that should be done for each accident in order to avoid
them (5 points).
Isulat ang ang mga pag-iingat na dapat gawin sa bawat sakuna o aksidente upang
maiwasan ang mga ito.
Do the same for Videos 2 and 3 (Ganyan din ang gawin para sa Video 2 at 3).
