UMTS Parameters

This course offers a comprehensive overview of the UMTS parameters

standardised by ETSI, as well as their functionality within UTRAN networks. The
presented content is supported through many examples. At the end of this
course the participants will be able to understand the relationship between of the
multiple parameters in order, for example, to optimise the call handling within
UTRAN.

Target Group / Requirements

The course is addressed to UTRAN system specialists and to personnel of mobile
network operators who work in the area of field implementation, as well as in
operation and maintenance centers. Sound UMTS knowledge is a prerequisite for
this course.
