1. Pasta Alfredo with shrimps 2. Gringas al pastor 3. Sushi
WICH DISH IS THE MOST DIFFICULT TO
MAKE? Maybe could be the sushi because you need specific things to be able to prepare this dish.
WICH IS THE EASIEST?
The pasta because it does not require such an elaborate preparation only if you have all the ingredients, you can do it. THE INGREDIENTS FOR ONE OF MY FAVORITE FOOD: ¾ lb fettuccine or penne pasta
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp oil 1 small onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp butter 1 garlic clove 1/3cup white wine of your choice
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup parmesan cheese S&P to taste Sprinkle of paprika Parsley or basil for garnish if desired HOW TO PREPARE PASTA ALFREDO WITH SHRIMPS? 1. Cook 3/4 lb of fettuccini noodles in salted water according to package directions and drain. Do not rinse (this helps the sauce adhere better to the noodles).
2. Lightly season the shrimp with salt, pepper and
paprika. Preheat a large skillet over medium/high heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook 1-2 minutes per side or just until cooked through and no longer translucent. They should be golden brown/pink on the outside and opaque on the inside. Don't overcook or they will be rubbery. Remove the shrimp to a separate bowl.
3. In the same skillet, over medium/high heat, add 2
tablespoons of butter and the onion and sauté the onion until golden brown. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute. Add 1/3 cup white wine and reduce to 25% by scraping the bottom to deglaze the pan.
4. Stir in the cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Then
sprinkle the top with 1/3 cup Parmesan (or add to taste) and stir just until creamy and smooth and remove from heat. Do not boil or the cheese will separate from the cream. Stir in about 1/4 teaspoon paprika and season with S&P to taste.
5. Add the cooked shrimp and drained pasta (without
rinsing). Garnish with parsley, basil, additional Parmesan, or freshly cracked pepper if desired.
