MACHINE ROOMLESS PEGASO ADVANTAGES

PEGASO MRL lifts differ from traditional electric lifts for the absence of the machine room. The entire lift, on the contrary, is located
inside the shaft structure or hoistway. The gearless permanent magnet motor is positioned in the headroom, directly on the guide
rails, while the elevator controller is housed in a cabinet next to the landing doorframe, on the top floor.
Our lifts comply with Directives 2014/33/EU and 89/336/EC on Electromagnetic Compatibility
SAFETY
In addition to the traditional safety systems, specific devices have been designed for this type of plant. A framework, fixed to the
end of the car and counterweight guide rails, anchors the motor in an exceptionally stable position. Furthermore, a mechanical
block system on the guide rails ensures control and stability of the car position during maintenance operations.
The “Vedo” kit, consisting of a camera in the hoistway and a monitor in the cabinet, is an optional device which allows the user to
view the traction pulley as well as to control the movement direction the lift car.
SPACE SAVING. The lift is totally arranged inside the hoistway and supported by the guide rails only. There is no need for load-
bearing beams to be fixed to the hoistway walls, or for any other specific masonry work, saving, this way, precious space otherwise
intended for the machine room.
AESTHETICS. The service cabinet, next to the door on the top floor, is realized in the same materials and finishes as the doors, and
has a reduced depth.
COMFORT. Thanks to the gearless motor and frequency speed control ensured by a quality inverter, it is possible to obtain greater
travel comfort as well as car and building quietness.
EFFICIENCY. Better system efficiency, less power installed and absorbed, resulting in greater energy saving (both in terms of
consumption and fixed costs). Less mechanical stress and a reduction in the motor temperature are also achieved.
