Cleanliness

What comes to mind when we say
"Cleanliness"?
The cleanliness of the heart, tongue, body, clothes,
home, food, drinks and workplace. What is the cleanliness of
the heart?
It is having the love of Allah, having no bad feelings
against others and thinking of everyone's goodness. Any
person who has these qualities has a clean heart. What is
cleanliness of the tongue?
It is not using bad words, not telling lies and avoiding saying
and hearing bad words. What are bad words?
They are the words that are not true or which upset
others. Would you like to use such words?
I would not wish to say any bad words if a person is not present
or not. I would not use the words which I do not wish people to use
for me. I would not make my tongue dirty with such words. It is
said that, "If you like to be a good human being, you must
keep your heart, mouth and tongue always Clean. Only good
words should be uttered from your mouth." I also wish to be like
that. What should be done for the cleanliness of the body?
When I wake up every morning, I must wash my face and
hands with soap. I should not forget to clean my nose.

Dear children, let's guess what the microbe and the bar
of soap are speaking about. Let's write their words in the
speech
balloons
below.

Guess Who I Am
I cannot tolerate dirt and grime I
clean them all the time. I don't
like what is wet I dry them right
away. I cannot tolerate untidiness
I run through and put it in order.
I am the chief enemy of
microbes I am the friend of
health. I brush day and night
White is my friend.

Everywhere were colourful seaweeds and coral reefs. On its way to Oyster's
house, Little Cleaner Fish came across Splasher Fish. When Splasher Fish saw
Little Cleaner Fish, it became so much happy that it blew a lot of bubbles out
of its mouth!
"Oh, my dear Little Cleaner Fish, I really wanted to see you soon!" said
Splasher Fish. "Where were you?"
Little Cleaner Fish replied, "I was cleaning Shark's teeth the whole day.
You know what, Shark does not clean its teeth regularly. It took me the entire day to
clean them all of its teeth!"
Splasher Fish complained, "My dear friend, I have some problems with
my teeth, too. Would you please take a look at them now? I think there is
something between those two
teeth at the back of my mouth. It has been giving me trouble for a long
time."
Little Cleaner Fish said, "Okay! Open your mouth, my friend." Splasher Fish
opened up its mouth wide. Little Cleaner Fish entered into Splasher
Fish's mouth and cleaned its teeth thoroughly. During the cleaning, Splasher
Fish did not close its mouth and it did not complain.
When Little Cleaner Fish finished the cleaning and came out of its mouth,
Splasher Fish thanked Little Cleaner Fish too much. Soon Little Cleaner Fish
was on its way to Oyster's house. When it reached Oyster's house, Oyster
was busy with a tiny grain of sand. It was working on that grain of sand to make it
into a pearl. When it Saw Little Cleaner
Fish, Oyster said, "Hello there, Little
Cleaner Fish! How have you been today?" "Quite fine, Oyster," said Little
Cleaner Fish, "but I feel sorry for some of my fish friends. They do not care about
their teeth for a very long time. You know very well that dental health is very much
important for our overall well-being. If they take care of their teeth a little, they can
have teeth as clean as pearls, just like you have." Oyster opened up its shell a little and
said, "You are so much right, my dear friend. Cleanliness is very essential for our
health."
Little Cleaner Fish asked “So, Oyster,
how have

you been since I last saw you?" Oyster replied, "I have been working on my
pearl," and asked, "What about you? What have you done today, Little Cleaner
Fish?"
Little Cleaner Fish shook its fins and said, "One of my customers today
was Swordfish... but when it saw me, it escaped very quickly. I rushed after it and
when I caught up with it, I was very much tired!"
Oyster was so surprised: "Why? You help everybody. All of us like you very
much. Why did Swordfish run away from you?"
Little Cleaner Fish said, "Listen to me for a moment: Some days ago, it
thought that I was Aspidantus Fish, that wild fish... you know I and Aspidantus
look very much alike. Anyway, when swordfish opened up its mouth and
started to wait for Aspidantus Fish, that wild fish bit the tail of Swordfish and
quickly escaped."
Oyster was worried: "So, how is Swordfish now?" Little Cleaner Fish
replied: "It is okay now. You see my dear friend? A fish must be very much careful."
Oyster said, "If you like you can stay with me tonight. It has been a long
time since you last came to stay here."
Little Cleaner Fish thanked Oyster for its kind offer. As Little Cleaner Fish went to
sleep, the dolphins were murmuring the songs for the night, and another
beautiful day in the sea was over...

Cleanliness of Lavatory

Ahmad uses the lavatory while sitting. He
cleans himself with his left hand. He
dries himself with the toilet
paper. When he finishes using the lavatory,
he pulls the flush and pours plenty
of water to drain the dirt. He does not throw
objects into the closet. He washes his hands
with me
and plenty of water.

Cleanliness of Rooms
The Untidy
Room Speaks
I am Alia's room. I have a complaint
about Alia. She always leaves me untidy.
After playing with her toys, she does not put
them back in their place. Alia, please do
not leave me untidy. If you do so, when
your friends or mother enter, you will
feel uncomfortable and embarrassed
What do you
think?
Let's read the following options and think what either of All's
behaviour may bring about:
Option 2: What may happen if Ali goes to school after brushing his
