1. Some people think that to have a successful life

you have to have university education, while
others think it’s not that important. Discuss both
views and give your opinion based on personal
experience and knowledge.

2 Some think that developing countries should

invite large foreign companies to open offices and
factories in order to help their economy. However,
others feel that foreign companies should be shut
out and instead the government should help the
local companies to contribute to the economic
growth. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

3. Some people say that parents have the most

important role in a child’s development. However,
others argue that other things like television or
friends have the most significant influence. Discuss
both views and give your own opinion.
4. Many shops work for 24 hours a day 7 days a
week; some people see it as a good idea, while
others don’t. Compare different views of
customers, shop workers and the whole society of
this subject and give your opinion about it.
