Narrative Report in Photo Essay Contest

The Celebration of Filipino Values Month in November, under Proclamation No. 479 issued on
October 25, 1994, is an effective measure to create Moral awakening and national consciousness on
unique, positive, and genuine values held importantly by Filipinos in their daily lives.
Thus, in line with the statement above, Raniag High School enjoins the whole month's celebration
by observing the month of November as a Filipino Values Month. One of the activities was conducted is the
Photo Essay Contest by the grade 7 students. This activity must be able to integrate Filipino Values that
would relate to the years theme “ Magagandang kaugaliang Pilipino: Isabuhay at Pagyamanin tungo sa
matiwasay at Maunlad na kInabukasan. This activity is open for all grade 7 learners their output must be
taken on or before November 13-18, 2022. The guidelines and mechanics of the said activity were
disseminated by the grade 7 subject teachers via messenger( group chat).

On November 17, 2022, Mrs. Raquel B. Radam and Lovely V. Vicarme gathered all their
Photographs via messenger. Below is the List of Winners
First place: Venice Lora B. Saraos STE 7
Second Place: Czarina Claudette M. Natividad Grade 7 Purity
Third Place: Clark Joshua Galapon Grade 7 Diligence

Awarding of certificates in the photo essay contest was successfully announced last Nov. 28, 2022,
at 7:30 in the morning after the flag ceremony. The activity mentioned above was smoothly implemented
through the help and cooperation of all the grade 7 advisers together with the esp subject teachers. The
photo essay contest was meaningful and enjoyable to everyone.

documented during the said activity.

PAMILYANG FILIPINO PHOTO ESSAY CONTEST (GRADE 7 ONLY)

IN-CHARGE: RAQUEL B. RADAM

MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES:

· Open for all Grade 7 learners.

· The photo must be taken within the family and emphasize the theme “Magagandang Kaugaliang
Pilipino: Isabuhay at Pagyamanin Tungo sa Matiwasay at Maunlad na Kinabukasan.”
· Photo must be taken on or before November 7-17, 2022.
· Entries must be digital, colored, and in JPEG or PNG format.
· The photos must have not been digitally altered and/or enhanced in any way other than simple cropping.
· Participants must think of a short yet catchy title for their photograph.
· Each entry should have the following details when posting online.
   a. Name and grade level.
   b. Place where the photo was taken (include town/ municipality, province)
c. Complete the date when the photo was taken.
   d. Equipment/ type of camera used/ mobile phone.

Grade 7 students showcase their talents by taking photographs with their families. The photos show that
the traits and characteristics of Filipinos remained intact and still applied up to this time.
