EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN

In the event to be led by 3NUR5-RLE 2 entitled: Project DBTC: Don’t Blame


the Calamity (A Webinar on Go Bags, Bandaging, and Splinting). For the
participants and the partner community in BRGY. Sta Rosa 2, Marilao,
Bulacan. The safety protocols to be implemented are the following:

● Mitigation
○ The overall implementation of the event, which is a webinar,
will be done in the virtual setting to minimize the risk of physical
contact and exposure to the virus for the participants.
○ The participants will be encouraged to avoid small gatherings
with non-household members while watching and
participating in the event.
○ If there are any physical materials to be used for the event
such as Go Bags, bandages, and splints in the scenario of a
demonstration. It will be sanitized before use to ensure safety
of the speaker.
● Preparedness
○ Names, contact details, and addresses of the attendees will
be gathered by the organizers for verification and evaluation
of the event.
○ Back-up mobile data will be ready, and internet connection
will be tested an hour before the event for the organizers to
ensure a smooth flow in the webinar.
● Response
○ Communication will be always available for any emergency
and concerns of the participants. This will be ensured by
assigning an officer to monitor and deliberate requests during
the webinar.

● Recovery
○ Proper documentation will be done by the assigned officer on
any relevant and present issues that happened during the
program. This will be discussed with the other organizers to
deliver a proper intervention accordingly.
