LEARNING 1. the usage of used to, would, be/get used to by drawing the mind map.
OBJECTIVES 2. completing 21 gap fills in the text, choose the write answer from the option given, identify the
correct usage of the grammar in the sentence.
What I’m looking for (WILF)
Pupils can draw the mind mapping of the usage of the grammar.
SUCCESS Pupils can complete 21 gap fills in the text.
CRITERIA Pupils can complete 6 gap fills in 6 sentences.
Pupils can identify 8 sentences using the correct form of be/get used to.

ACTIVITIES

Pupils play a short quiz orally with the teacher to review the uses of used to, would, be/get used
PRE-LESSON to and listen to teacher’s explanation of the lesson.
(instruction will be shared at WhatsApp Group)

1. Pupils now revise the difference in meaning of used to/would and be/get used to something by
watching the Youtube channel about the grammar

2. Pupils will present the information from the video into writing form. (teacher encourage the
pupils to use I-think map)

Differentiated Actvities:
Less proficient pupils: Teacher will give the mind mapping of the grammar and ask them to fill in
the blanks while watching the Youtube Video.
More proficient pupils: Draw the mind map of the grammar using I-think
POST-LESSON Pupils review their learning in this lesson by doing the extension activity on p23 in the Teacher’s
Book.
Pupils discuss in pairs before discussing the answers as a class.
