1. OBJECTIVE:
To identify, establish and maintain quality records that provide evidence of compliance with the product
requirements, as well as the effective operation of the Quality Management System.

2. GUIDELINES:
METALPAN maintains the quality records to demonstrate compliance with the specified requirements for the
product and/or service provided, as well as, as appropriate, quality records provided by suppliers.

The quality records in METALPAN are the following:

 Legible and identifiable.
 Retrievable and accessible.
 Kept in a suitable environment to prevent damage or deterioration and to prevent loss.

METALPAN, has the Procedure for the Control of Records PG-AS-02, this procedure describes how they are
identified, ensures that they remain legible, stored, protected, recovered, the retention and final disposal time of
quality records is defined.

Where contractually agreed, quality records are available for evaluation by the customer or his representative for
an agreed period.
