For me, the suitable leadership style for a leader should be autocratic or authoritarian.

Why did I
choose that? The virus is humanity's most lethal enemy since it is invisible and cannot be seen
with the naked eye. We all know that mobilization of people is one of the many factors in
transmitting the virus from one place to another, so in order to control movement, the
government should impose strict movement control because at the moment, we know that people
are going to panic because there are numerous new reports during the early months of lockdown
even before the scheduled lockdown way back in 2020 that people are panicking. Another issue
is fake news and conspiracy theories concerning the virus's validity. Some claim the virus does
not exist, while others claim it is a hidden organization's intention to decrease the human
population. Some argue that vaccinations are made up of microchips or implants, in which case
the government should regulate the people to guarantee viral containment while simultaneously
adequately informing the public about the virus. We appreciate that depriving individuals of their
freedom is a harsh attitude, but we must remember that this is for the interest of everyone's
safety, and that the news discourages people from participating in medical activities like what
happened today. Some people still do not believe in COVID and refuse to be vaccinated.
Consider the study "authoritarian flaws and the epidemic" by Thomas Carothers and David
Wong. They cite the instances of Bahrain, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates, where they
successfully enforced an autocratic way of life. If we can adopt this method in the early months
of 2020, before and during the pandemic, I believe we will win the fight against the COVID-19
epidemic.
