EPIC WATERS Contest Trip

Parents,
Our 7th and 8th grade bands will be participating in an all-day band competition at Epic Waters
Water Park on Tuesday, December 7th. Each band will perform 2 selections and receive a rating
and trophy, as well as a brief clinic from one of the judges. After their performance we will
spend the rest of the day enjoying the largest indoor water park in Texas!
When: Tuesday December 7th, 8:30-approximately 6:30 p.m. We will ride a bus to and from
this event.
Performance Dress: Students will wear their Blue Bowman Band Shirt and shorts or jeans.
Water Park Dress: Students will wear school appropriate swim-suits.
Ladies Preferably a one-piece swimsuit, if two piece is worn, band t-shirt must be worn over it.
Cost: Because of the nature of the contest there is a cost to this trip. The trip will cost $40.00.
$40 fee will pay for student entry fee, transportation AND the lunch at the park.

You may pay via cash or check(PISD), or RYCOR(online payments will not begin until November
8th) You may pay in installments if needed. Final payments must be received by Friday,
November 18th.
We need to get a firm commitment for who is going on the trip. Parents, please sign the bottom
portion and have your student return to us.
