Explain the impact of past human civilization on the development of science and

technology in the modern world today.

Answer:
Technological advancements, inventions, and engineering applications have aided and
hindered human civilizations in the past and present, respectively. To thrive and flourish,
societies need technical advancements, but at the same time human cultures' values and goals
have affected how technology has been developed, used, and hindered. Human
societies/civilizations and their technology have grown interwoven as technical systems are
produced by humans and reflect the very essence of a population's needs and culture. The
cyclical nature of society and technology is one in which each factor substantially influences
the other, beginning with human civilizations and culminating in the creation of various
technologies to satisfy the demands of the society. Adam's Calendar and a primitive
calculator are examples of ancient technology that enabled the ancient kingdoms track time,
communicate numerical quantities, and regulate their economies and develop in size.
Agriculture, which was essential to ancient societies' well-being and served as the foundation
of their robust economies, was shaped in part by technological advancements as well.
Irrigation, architectural constructions, the creation of glass and the use of baked clay all
contributed to the growth of ancient cities and kingdoms. Even while ancient civilizations
like the Sumerians, the Minoans, the Greeks of the Hellenistic period, and others had
advanced technologies for their time, the industrial revolution and the scientific boom of the
nineteenth century far eclipsed their achievements. An intriguing alternative is the return of
ancient people's physical abilities. People who can see the weather in the sky and predict it
(it's possible, you know), who can lift enormous stones, who can walk tens of miles each day
will have an impact on our time. The skills we've lost as a result of technological
advancement.
Technological advancements have improved human lives since antiquity by addressing issues
of daily living and making it easier to accomplish various jobs. As a result of advancements
in technology, farming has become easier, cities have become more practical, and travel has
become more convenient, effectively connecting all countries on the planet and facilitating
globalization. In some ways, technological solutions make life easier, more efficient, and
faster, but in other ways, they cause more issues than they solve. Science has given man the
opportunity to pursue societal concerns such as ethics, aesthetics, education, and justice; to
develop cultures; and to enhance human conditions by making it easier to live one's life.
However, technology has also given us the unique ability to destroy ourselves. Advances in
scientific understanding fundamentally altered the way ancient kingdoms conducted business.
These advances in scientific and technological principles significantly enhanced their way of
life. According to historical accounts, these advances in scientific understanding contributed
significantly to the survival of these kingdoms. The availability of food was improved, as did
commerce activity and the general standard of living. In ancient times, these two elements
were seen as essential to the advancement of human civilisation.
