Abstract

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemichas caused a lot of

distruptions in our country. The face to face learning was forced to stop and use the

blended online-modular learning modality that took advantage on the use of

eduactional online platforms.

These platforms alow students to attend classes from any location of their

choice. It also allows schools to reach out to a more extensive network of students,

instead of being restricted by geographical boundaries. Additionally, online lectures

for enrichment can be recorded, archived, and shared for future reference. This allows

students to access the learning material at a time of their comfort. However, this

situation can be harder because of physical conditions. You don't really have a

teacher who can keep you on track, you don't see classmates who can help you, and

you aren't in a dedicated space for learning. Because of these things, you need a lot

more discipline in order to stay on task.

The aim why researchers choose this study to know the effects of educational

online platform to know the effect of the educational online platform to the school

performance of the Junior High School Students in Distance Learning.

This research will be intended on January up until March 2021.
