    Present simple Past simple

    Past simple Past perfect
    Sara spoke fluently English. Sara said that she had spoken fluently English.
    Present progressive Past progressive
    Sara is speaking fluently English. Sara said that she was speaking fluently English.
    Past progressive Past perfect progressive

    Future simple (will) Use modal would
    Sara will speak fluently English. Sara said that she would speak fluently English.
    Future (be going to) am, is, are Past (be going to) was, were
