Experience so far...
In the orientation week, we got a detailed introduction on
what was expected of us and what to expect from the
course directly via the course outline. Our lecturer Dr.
Villareal had us introduce ourselves and give small details
as it related to us and the field. We discussed our thoughts
on rehabilitation and more so community based
rehabilitation.
Thoughts on the importance on what was said...
For orientation week it was essential to have an introduction to
explain what is expected of us as students in preparation for the
weeks ahead. it is my understanding that introducing ourselves was
not only informative but an icebreaker to welcome us into the course
warmly.
Establishing the rules, giving the course outline, and other
information simply to guide us were the tools to ensure at the end of
this journey we procure an 'A' in community-based rehabilitation.
The orientation week all in all gave us an insight on what community-
based rehabilitation was all about, its importance and what we'd be
taking awake from the course
