Daniel loved God with all his heart. Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den.
He prayed to God lots of times every day. He was not afraid. He just prayed to God.
Daniel did what was good and right. The king could not sleep. He was so sad.
He worked for the king of Babylon. In the morning he looked in the lions’ den.

Daniel had broken the kings rules. The king saw that Daniel worked hard.
The king was very sad. He always did what was good and right.
He knew he had been tricked. The King made Daniel the boss, but
“His God will look after him,” said the King. the other helpers wanted to be boss too.

They tricked the king into making a rule. “I love God and I will still pray,” said Daniel.
Anyone who prayed to God The King’s helpers looked in the window.
Would be thrown in the lions den! They saw Daniel pray and told the king.
