The authors of this article are Assistant Professor Keenika Saini and Associate

Professor Dr. Surbhi Jain, they work in Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS) in New

Delhi, India. They collaborated with each other to make this article entitled “Women

Entrepreneurship the Emerging Workforce In the 21st Century: Turning Challenges into

Opportunities”.

In the article, it is explained how Women are considered inferior to men, society back

then was used to women working in the kitchen and tending to their husbands and children, it

was rare for a woman to work and even if there was such occurrence, women were heavily

criticized and would even be outcasted for doing such a thing , thus, job opportunities were

limited to women and they were required to work harder than other men to prove themselves

that they are capable of such responsibilities. However, times have changed since then and the

21st Century has proven how much it changed. In this day and age, both women and men are

required to be independent and especially when it comes to their career, as means of supporting

themselves.
Entrepreneurship is a developmental and progressive career, and especially in the

business world, and the education that they were given has definitely given them the

knowledge and confidence to be creative and successful in their venture. For entrepreneurs to

start and make their business, they must have their own reasons and creative ideas, and women

are not an exception to that. For a woman to join the entrepreneurial world, she may want to

have more power and freedom, in which one can be able to manage their own time and

schedules as it creates diversal opportunities for everyone. The business world always

welcomes creative and progressive ideas, regardless of who or where they come from.

This article can be applied in this study, as for all people to be enlightened that

entrepreneurship does not discriminate nor criticize what a person’s gender may be or where

the person comes from. This study focuses on broadening others' perspectives about women

and how they are capable as much as any other person. A woman’s capabilities should not be

seen as luck in the entrepreneurial world, it is something that each and every woman has a

chance in, just like any other man has a chance in the business world. The more diverse others

can be in the business world, the more creative and knowledgeable the future entrepreneurs

can be. For the future to forge ahead and to be peaceful, one should be open minded and

creative as to venture something new.

The author of this study is Nadire Yimamu, he had written this study as his thesis for

his Degree programme in Business Management, in Centria University of Applied Sciences in

Kokkola, Finland back in February 2018, he entitled his thesis as “Entrepreneurship and

Entrepreneurial Motivation”

This article explains how entrepreneurship is not easy for all people who plan or who

are in the business world. It is a study about how other entrepreneurs were able to perceive

their way through every hardship they went through as an entrepreneur, and how it had

affected them towards their characteristics, attitudes and their decision making. As said by

Dollinger (1995, 3), each and every person entrepreneur has their own definitions of what

entrepreneur and entrepreneurship are to them, it focuses on understanding and sharing the

knowledge that other entrepreneurs have gained through their own experience. It explains how

entrepreneurship holds an important role in driving economic development. As said by Kuratko

& Welsch (2004,3), it is a symbol of success and passion and along with that passion comes

with commitment, and with that it can leave a good result to society , it can encourage more

entrepreneurial projects in the future.

This research can be applied in this study, as it shows how motivation and commitment

does have a big impact in success, it has shared a deeper knowledge of Entrepreneurship, it

described that Entrepreneurship is not easy and will have many challenges to come along, but

as long as one is committed and persevere, then success will come in the right time. It

explained how success is and will not be easy to achieve, it is informative for people who have

intentions in having and improving their business.

The authors of this articles are Dr. Nadia Abdelhamid Abdelmegeed Abdelwahed and

Dr. Mohammed A. Aldoghan. Dr. Nadia used to be a PhD student in Kingston University,

London, where she was part of the Faculty of Business and Law, and she is currently an

and has written over 18 articles. Dr. Mohammed is a doctor of Philosophy and he used to go to

the University of Bradford, studying Management. He is currently the Head of department,

leading the management department, in King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia.

This article explains how poverty has become a worldwide problem, and especially in

developing countries, it shows how entrepreneurs plan to eradicate poverty through

entrepreneurship activities. Entrepreneurship is about chances, where risks are present, but also

being able to provide new job opportunities. Entrepreneurship holds a big impact in the

country’s economy, which is considered as an important factor for entrepreneurs to release new

business ventures and to be able to provide employment to others. According to Rindova et al.,

(2009), this encompasses institutional and social spheres to improve the status of the lower

class people and at the same time improve social entrepreneurship.

This article applies to this study, as it provides entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs

information and findings that entrepreneurship can help solve poverty. It strongly explained

that entrepreneurship is seen as a process of taking chances and opportunities and taking risks,

and through all of it can be a solution to reducing the number of poverty.
