Exploring/Emerging (E/E) - a level of practice in which the teacher relies on ongoing assistance from more experienced colleagues for
support, guidance, and survival. The teacher is moving toward becoming more self-directed and independent in her/his practice.
Applying (A) - a level of practice in which the teacher is able to provide independent instruction and easily applies what s/he has
learned about educational practice.
Integrating/Innovating (I/I) - a level of development in which the teacher is fully skilled and confident. The Integrating/Innovating
teacher is contributing to the broader educational community through staff development, research, or publication in professional
journals.

I was apart of a team that had the opportunity to
review new math curriculum for our school.
My team decided what standards are the most
crucial to teach in order for students to show
sufficient mastery to move on to the next grade I would like to continue to strengthen my skills in teaching

Our staff decided as a whole that we struggle in the
area of teaching writing so our solution was to take
part in a book study that allows us to improve in
this area.
My biggest areas of strength are meeting the individual needs of all of my students. I do this through using different
approaches to teaching and by differentiating for all of my students. Another area of strength is collaborating with my
grade level team. One major area of growth is continued research in teaching cross - curricularly and also to continue
developing my skills in regards to teaching reading.
