    Read each of the following Problems carefully, illustrate and solve.

    1. Find the lateral area of a square-base life raft if its slant height is 17 ft, and its edge
    of the base is 5 meters. How many persons could be accommodated if a person
    occupies a space of 7.5 sq. ft.?

    2. Find the volume of a triangular pyramidal tank if each lateral edge is 30 meters and
    each edge of the base is 10meters.
