Career Goals

I’ve always had a strong interest in mathematics since I was in elementary school. In high school
they offered an engineering course called ‘Project Lead the Way’ (PLTW). I fell into love with
the many engineering courses they taught there and wanted to further my education in
engineering, eventually becoming one. My plan includes getting a degree in Civil Engineering in
my four years of college, two years at community college, then transferring to a university,
preferably Morgan State University. Morgan is known for their engineering program, so I am
eager to further my education there. In between these years of school, I hope to find a good
internship that will teach me a lot with hands on experiences within the field furthering my love
for engineering. Straight out college I hope and expect to get a job within the field.
