1. What is Dispute/Conflict as defined by Prof. Domingo in his book " Dispute Resolution
and Crisis Management?
 Dispute resolution is  a way of resolving disagreements without going to court. It
is a good first step in trying to reach agreement about many kinds of problems,
including disputes: between neighbours. between separating couples.

 2 Name the two(2) kinds of Dispute/Conflict recognized in the

Philippines?
 -Criminal cases involve a person being prosecuted by the police
or a government prosecuting agency, such as the Director of
Public Prosecutions, on behalf of the State for an offence against
the law. If the court finds a person guilty of a crime, the court has
the power to punish the offender by imposing a sentence (or
punishment), such as a fine, a community service order, bond or
custodial sentence (imprisonment). The law generally sets a
maximum penalty for the offence, and the judge selects a penalty
that is within the scope of the maximum penalty and that is
appropriate to the criminality involved.
 -A civil case involves a dispute between people (or between a
person and the government) about the rights or liabilities of the
people or organisations involved. A civil case usually involves
one person seeking a remedy of some kind from another person
to resolve a dispute between them.

 3. How is Dispute/Conflict resolved in the Philippines?

 -The Supreme Court acts as an umpire in case of disputes arising

their respective powers of dual objectives. If there is any
disputes between the Centre and the State government, Supreme
Court plays very important role as middle man to resolve that
disputes.

 -Dispute resolution is the process of resolving disagreements or
conflicts between different parties. There are a number of
scenarios where dispute resolution is required. For example, a
consumer may have a dispute with a company they've purchased
faulty goods from. Other conflicts can arise between:
Neighbours.

 5. What are the five conflict resolution strategies developed by

Kenneth Thomas Kilman?
 -The TKI assessment provides insight into an individual or team's
typical response to conflict situations using one or more of five
conflict-handling modes: competing, collaborating,
compromising, avoiding, and accommodating. These modes
reflect varying levels of assertiveness and cooperation.

 6. What is the Criminal Justice System?

 -The criminal justice system is the network of government and
private agencies intended to manage accused and convicted
criminals. The criminal justice system is comprised of multiple
interrelated pillars, consisting of academia, law enforcement,
forensic services, the judiciary, and corrections.

 -The Philippine criminal justice system is composed of five parts
or pillars, namely, law enforcement, prosecution, judiciary,
penology, and the community.

System?

system. Criminologists define a crime as a voluntary and
intentional violation by legally competent person of a legal duty
that commands or prohibits an act for the protection of society.

law enforcement, the court system, and corrections. The main
agents in this system are law enforcement officers, the courts,
