REACTION PAPER
Movie title: “Me before You”

"Me Before You" is a film directed by Jojo Moyes, an author, writer, and journalist who is one of
just a few authors to have won the Romantic Novelists' Association's Romantic Novel of the
Year Award twice. Louisa Clark/Emilia Clarke and William Traynor/Sam Claflin star in the love
drama "Me Before You." William Traynor/Sam Claflin is a 35-year-old guy who became
quadriplegic after being hit by a motorcycle. Louisa Clark/Emilia Clarke is a 26-year-old woman
who is creative, talented, and amusing but underestimates herself and has few ambitions.

“Me Before You” tells the story of Louisa Clark, a quirky woman who has lost her job and is
looking for a new one. This is how she meets Will Traynor, who was paralyzed in a motorcycle
accident and is now paralyzed. He has lost his zest for life and spends each day doing nothing
but taking his prescription. When Louisa comes into his life as his new caregiver, she puts a new
light into his life, and the movie follows the development of their relationship.

The movie may deal with a topic that only a few people are familiar with, but the author will
make you consider what might happen and how you would feel in that situation. The author
discusses human nature and how interacting with specific people can help you see life in a
more positive light. Not only does the film involve romance, but it also depicts the difficulties of
adult working life and how life can change at any time.

Instead of being merely good or bad, the characters are humanly imperfect, which makes them
far more likable and realistic. Moyes' movie is easy to understand but rich in detail, allowing
you to immerse yourself in the plot and empathize with the characters' feelings and
experiences. Not only does the novel involve romance, but it also depicts the difficulties of
adult working life and how life can change at any time, in my opinion. I feel like the moral of
this movie is to embrace life and live each day to its fullest and also the lesson of this story for
me is to Be thankful for what you have and appreciate the little things, Live boldly, and have no
regrets.

The significance of embracing and appreciating life is a prominent subject in Me Before You.
Will Traynor no longer sees his own life as valuable, but he pushes Lou Clark to do so. The film
discusses a lot of topics that most people would ignore or overlook as a problem, which I
believe puts new insight into these situations. In this film, I experienced every possible feeling.
It was sadly lovely, and I've suggested it to a lot of people. I'd recommend it to anyone who
enjoys a real romance as well as a great movie about humanity and life's difficulties.
