For the power loss calculation, firstly we should design the transmission line.

We only know the power

generated which is 25 MW and the length of transmission line which is 12 km. the power factor we
assume is 0.85.

From the empirical formula;

l
Most economical voltage is 5.5 1.6 + p∗1000/(nc∗cos ∅∗150) ¿
¿
Where l is length in km, p is power delivered, nc is number of ckt.

So for nc=1, the economical voltage is 81 Kv. The nearest standard voltage be 66 Kv.

Here we assume economical voltage 132 Kv. We can also transmit the power of voltage level 66 kV.

Electrical criteria:

For V=132 Kv

I=p/¿)

128.64A

We take the nearest conductor “wolf”.
