1. What is Public Relations?

 Consists of a variety of methods and approaches for controlling how news about a person or
organization is presented to the general public, particularly the media. Its key objectives are
to communicate significant business news or events, preserve a corporate image, and limit
the negative effects of negative occurrences by giving them a good spin. PR can take place
through a press release from the business, a news conference, journalist interviews, social
media posts, or other means.
 Every person or organization that operates in the public eye has to worry about the public
learning about them or their methods. Even though it is a separate industry, public relations
can be viewed as any effort to present oneself to others in a particular light.

2. Give and define 2 principles of effective public relations.

COMMUNICATION
 The foundation of this sector is mostly corporate communication. This aspect of public
relations may be easier to identify in celebrities. Public relations professionals frequently
provide quotes for tabloids and articles on the most recent breakup of their clients.
However, organizations can also benefit from this feature of unified communication and
collaboration technologies. A public relations company is committed to assisting you in
projecting a particular image of your business to the public. Public relations specialists do,
however, encourage public interaction and input, unlike internet or Facebook advertising.
Due to the fact that they enable two-way communication between companies and the
public, PR services are a special advantage for many firms.

STRATEGY
 Public relations also includes two-way communication and planning. PR agencies are
committed to foreseeing, examining, and interpreting public opinion or issues that could
have an impact on your company's success. These businesses may assist in creating a
strategy for public communication by researching current trends, subjects, and concerns
that matter to your customers and clients. Contrary to advertising tactics, this method of
communication is extremely inexpensive. In general, the procedure is obtaining free press
by delivering press kits to journalists who might be curious about your company's most
recent advancements. This enables you to share your story with the general audience via an
objective third-party.

3. In your own words, what is the essence of public relations in the performance of the duties of
an administrative professionals.

 If you want to work in any of the many professions that often include communicating with
others, you must have strong public relations abilities. Typically, they consist of knowledge
of public opinion trends, research, and communication abilities. Knowing how to use these
abilities could help you become a valuable member of a company's marketing and
communications team.
