The teacher will show four (4) pictures and there will be a quote that the
students need to complete once they have understood what the pictures are
all about.
Answer: “There is cash in trash.”
The students will have to recall and analyze the saying based on the previous
discussions about recycling.
Activity (Presentation) “Recycling” and its types will be defined.

Video will be shown to learn a new way to make a recycle project – Pencil Bottle.

Analysis Ask the following questions:


1. What is Recycling?
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and
objects
2. How is recycling advantageous to our environment?
By reducing air and water pollution and saving energy, recycling offers an
important environmental benefit: it reduces emissions of greenhouse gases,
such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons, that
contribute to global climate change.

3. Why is recycling important to be part of today’s and younger generation’s


modern world?
To preserve our mother Earth and to help reduce pollution caused by
excessive waste in the environment.

Abstraction The teacher will show pictures and the students will need to arrange them based on the steps
on how to create the Recycled Project- Pencil Bottle.
Application The Students will create a recycled material called “Pencil Bottle”. The students will then
explain the process they had and materials used on doing the project. The students will be
graded according to this rubric:
