MY INSIGHTS ABOUT THE PHILIPPINE MULTIGRADE SCOOLS MONITORING

AND EVALUATION SYSTEM

Based on my understanding that this video is the overview of the Philippine Multigrade
school monitoring and evaluation system on how the system tracks children’s access
the basic education services and how teaching quality and learning experience and how
to jumpstart the implementation of M&E system. In this video said that the Multigrade
schools have been established to bring education closer to school-age children located
in isolated, hard-to-reach, underserved, and sparsely populated communities and they
can also serve to provide complete elementary education in such communities because
the Philippine school monitoring & evaluation system is a learner centered, outcome
driven evidenced based, participatory and utilization is focused on system for tracking,
evaluating and documentations of the multigrade program in Philippine education
because this system that combines the Department of Education's monitoring and
evaluation requirements. In the multigrade program proved its contribution to student
learning. Multigrade learners are seen to perform at equal level with learners in a single
grade classroom setting when their results in various assessment evaluations are
contrasted, and this is a practical solution to address barriers to education such as
access and participation. It is a reasonable learning delivery especially in remote,
isolated, low-resourced, and underserved communities as teachers you may provide
different activities for your students and appropriate to the needs of the learners based
on their individual developmental level and it allows teachers to empower and engage
the learners by providing multiple ways to learn because the multigrade teacher's role is
to teach students by imparting knowledge rather than simply following a curriculum. A
teacher must be capable of developing skills and instilling desirable values and attitudes
in students. The teacher is expected to be adaptable and to use a variety of strategies
to make learning meaningful and effective for all students in his or her classroom,
regardless of individual differences. In the following section of this web training content,
you will be able to learn more specifically about multigrade teaching and learning
strategies.
