Alita: Battle Angel (2019)

What is your expectation before watching the movie?

What I expect on the movie base on the cover or poster of it is that it
would be a action movie more fight scene and it would be interesting and
thrilling to watch and also how they utilize the technology, the use of CGI and
camera tricks. I also expect that everyone who will watch it will get a life
lesson at the end.

What are the technological advances presented in the movie?

They use a high advanced technology example Alita is a cyborg and
the body incorporate with smart armor, sensors, actuators, haptic devices,
and a reactor power source. They use a Self-healing materials. Alita's cyborg
body is powered by a reactor core in her heart something currently beyond
our technology.

How did society react or respond to these advances?

600 years in the future, the cyberpunk world of Alita: Battle Angel is a
dystopian society where people in the iron city scavenge for anything useful
especially technology in the Scrapyard, which holds everything dumped from
the floating city of Zalem, where the elite resides. The Scrapyard is where a
kind doctor finds cyborg Alita’s head and he knows immediately he’s looking
at highly advances technology from three centuries earlier, lost in time, and
rehabilitates her. Here journey follows from amnesiac innocent to fierce
warrior. Also a single-wheeled and electric bikes already exist, for instance;
the movie’s design for them was just to modified to look cooler and more
futuristic.

What is the best part of the movie for you and why?
The best part of the movie for me is when Ido finds Alita while
rummaging through a towering pile of discarded junk and their he saw a
mutilated cyborg that lacks a proper body but still has a functioning brain and
Ido sees the potential for a second looking into the cyborgs expressive eyes.
The he constructed the body for his late daughter as well here name Alita. He
give a second chance to live the cyborg and treat like his daughter.

What part of the movie you least like and why?

I least like in the movie is the ending between Alita and Hugo why? All
Hugo has ever dreamed of is rising above Iron City and just when it seems
like his dream may become a reality vector stabs him in the back Hugo is thus
driven to climb to Zalem himself via cargo tube which Alita knows is suicide
but despite her pleas Alita can’t prevent Zolem defense system from slicing
Hugo into pieces and what left of him is only able to bid a tearful farewell
before letting go.
