2 What methods do companies use to find out why we behave as we do?

Companies use two method :

-Quantitative research and Qualitative research.

-· Quantitative methods gather insights with numerical data.

-· Qualitative techniques get insights on consumers' behavior and interactions with


a product.

-· Surveys are used to collect both types of data. They can be given out in different
ways such as telephone, email, online form and in person.

-· The best consumer insights research method is chosen by the data needed and
the available resources.

3 How do companies use information about behavior? Who benefits?

Companies use information about behavior to :

-· To improve the customer experience

-· To refine a company’s marketing strategy

-· To transform the data into cash flow

- · To secure more data · Of course, the business collects the data because
behavioral data can be a critical source for insights across a plethora of industries.
For instance, retailers and e-commerce marketplaces can use behavioral data to
gain a better understanding of how their customers purchase and use goods, what
information influences their decisions, and how they compare different options.
Likewise, media companies and streaming providers can create detailed profiles of
how users engage with different content at other times in the day.

4 Can all human behavior be explained?

Human behavior is absolutely fascinating. Observing people and trying to predict


what they will do next can provide a real learning experience.

Human behavior is quite predictable in many instances. Personalities can be


extremely complex but there are areas that can be understood with a high degree of
accuracy. The behavior usually express throughout the body and gestures so we
can partly understand a person's behavior.
