TITLE – REPORT ON CAFETERIA OF JESUS AND MARY COLLEGE

COURSE NAME – VAC (CULTURE AND COMMUNICATION)

GROUP MEMBERS- Harshita Pandey, Niwedita Baa, Shoziini

7 FEBRUARY,2023

INTRODUCTION-

The cafeteria is a very important facility for students through which a better standard of food and
refreshment can be obtained. The cafeteria also serves as the place where students can meet
informally and have a relaxing conversation. The Cafeteria is designed to cater for the needs of
students who hail from diverse food cultures in India.

OBJECTIVES-

This report's main objective is to analyse students’ views about the cafeteria of the college and
study the student satisfaction level with the cafeteria. Also, feedback and suggestions are given
on how to improve the services in the cafeteria.

METHODOLOGY-

The analysis report was made after conducting of following steps-

1 . Formation of a questionnaire consisting of questions regarding the cafeteria.

2 . Each member conducted interviews with 5 students of Jesus and Mary College.

3 . Notes were taken after every interview.

4 . Discussion was held by members of the group and a collective analytic report was made.
Also, feedback and suggestions regarding the same were given.

OBSERVATION-

It was observed that all of the interviewed students had a similar point of view when questions
were asked to them and gave similar suggestions on improvement of the same. This shows that
some basic concerns need to be addressed while providing the services in the cafeteria.

ANALYSIS-

Most of the students have a positive attitude towards cafeteria facilities. But some students have
problems with the cost of the food and the service in the cafeteria. Also, the cafeteria has less
space, leading to chaos during break time.
FEEDBACK AND SUGGESTIONS-

Cost should be brought down for some products and more space to be provided.

CONCLUSION-

After conducting a proper analysis, it can be concluded that students want the cafeteria to
provide healthy and quality food to them. Students also want variety in food at an affordable
price and a good environment.
