Remember
A Metaphor is a figure of speech that compares two things. It often uses the word “is, was, are or
were.”
A Simile is a comparison between two things using the word “like” or “as”.
Direction: Read each sentence or phrase below.
Label it as either a simile by writing “s” or a metaphor by writing “m”.
