V. Brief Description of the Program/Project/Activity

The LAC Session aims to improve teaching skills of teachers in facilitating

reading using the Early Language Literacy and Numeracy Instruction during this
pandemic. Maliwanag Elementary School will conduct a School-Based LAC
Session to support the DepEd Memo. No. 173, s. 2019, “Bawat Bata Bumabasa”
every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month starting on January 14, 2022 and ends on June
18, 2022. This is in response to address the most common dilemma of pupils in
Maliwanag Elementary School regarding its reading readiness level in order for them
to be prepared on the next grade level.
Maliwanag ES Teaching Staff implemented this activity right after the proposal
was being approved by the division office on February 2022. Because of this, our
implementation was delayed and completed the activity this July 2022.
