Let’s do this:
The pictures in group A show the cleanliness of the environment. They also show the ways to
maintain the cleanliness of our surroundings. For example, recycling. While in Group B, images
show the unsanitary environment that greatly harms the people and the environment . And if I'm
going to choose between these two, I'll choose Group A because it gives me an idea of how to
take better care of our place and the environment we live in.

Activity 1:

BARANGAY

BEFORE
Back then, our barangay had a
lot of clutter in the canal,
garbage was scattered and the
canal was smelly, the area
was full of dust.
AFTER
The gutters are now clean, and an
appropriate cover has been installed to
prevent any dirt from being deposited. The
area was also clean since our captain led a
program in which every alley resident was
required to participate in the cleaning.

TOWN

BEFORE
Back then, the roads were
bumpy, there wasn’t much wind,
there was a lot of clutter around
and there weren’t too many trees.
AFTER
Now the bumpy roads are being
repaired, fresh air is being breathed in
because they have also planted trees,
and they have also appointed cleaners in
each barangay.
 PHILIPPINES

BEFORE
Based on my research, the Philippines
used to suffer from degradation and
climate change. Polluted rivers,
inaction on waste, and mismanagement
of garbage.
AFTER
Many are already forming organizations to
improve the environment in the Philippines.
There are also laws in place to prevent
environmental issues. People are also becoming
responsible for the actions they take, for
example, recycling, conserving water, planting
and many others.

1. Yes, I believe so, as long as you are consistent and environmentally conscious.
2. I believe they will cooperate because it benefits not just the community but also their families.
This regulation will also help us in avoiding diseases and natural calamities.
3. Before enacting such ordinances, I will first ask for input from my residents so that they are
informed of what is going on in our community. These ordinances will also be planned with the
assistance of officials. I'll implement it and start setting it up once I obtain their participation and
everything is in place.
