Advertising that brings you to tears


A sense of warmth, comfort, and belief in miracles - the similarities between
Christmas and Disney. What about Disney’s Christmas ad?
The first ever Christmas advertisement Disney «Lola» was released in 2020. In this
first part, fans met Nicole and her grandmother Lola. In the second part, viewers
were watching Nicolas and her own children. Advertising in 2020 and 2021 gained
184 million views worldwide! And this year, the family is preparing for Christmas and
the touching arrival of a new baby. Part 3 is called "Gift".
"Gift" is a touching story of sibling relationships. Advertising is seen through the eyes
of Ella’s youngest child. At the center of the story lies a Mickey Mouse toy that
connects the past, present, and future: older brother Max gives his toy to Ella to calm
her down before she goes to bed, then Ella gives a soft toy to her little brother at
their first meeting.
What makes this advertisement so special is that it was created in partnership with
Make-A-Wish, a long-standing Disney benevolent partner who fulfills the wishes of
children who live with serious diseases. Fans should get involved and donate to
Make-A-Wish.
The target group of this advertising - both children and adults. Kids will be interested
to see this story and see what Ella’s doing, and they will understand this ad as a
cartoon. And grown-ups can go through the trilogy and raise money to help some kid.
Disney can create a fairy tale and make you believe in miracles and Merry Christmas
is a great story!
