“Juana”, women of the past, present and of the future.
Through time, the women’s role and
contribution to the society became not just a voice but a movement. Their fight towards equality and women empowerment are forged and armed with burning passion and desire. Women today are far from the primitive and conventional views of them. As society changes, women play their part, not just as the support of men but rather, as their equal in effort, strength, and ability. Whatever progress and development the world had attained, women were part of it and women will always be a part of what the society will become. Indeed, there is no other time for us to accept and totally make amends to our disputes caused by the differences of our ideals. It is the time where everyone is acknowledged, recognized, and respected. No matter what our gender is or our races, we play a part of this global networks and that makes us valuable. No one can take our rights away from us. Men have never been entitled to feel greater than women, vice versa. If we just learn how to see the countless opportunities when we work together and hand in hand, aim for one common goal, nothing would be impossible. Men or no men, our micro efforts will have a macro effect as we redirect our paths, recalibrate our ways and rekindle what was lost long time ago. Our future lies on the hands of men, women, and the youth. And if one overpowers the other, success could never come true. Respect is the key, acceptance is another. Juana will always be relevant, significant, and important. Thus, the Juanas deserve what everyone else does.
