I want to tell you about a series on Netflix called Brooklyn 99. For me, it is the
best series I have ever watched. I'm a big fan of comedies also I'm interested in
crime and solved cases, you know, detectives world. Brooklyn 99 connects my
hobbies.
When I watched this series for the first time I fall in love right away. When the
covid has started I have nothing to do my brother recommended me this series.
I really appreciate it.

love this series for huge sense of humor. I watched this so many times that now
I remember each episode by heart. The main thread is about relationships
between detectives who solve cases. They are coworkers but treat themselves
as friends. They together catch criminals, solve cases, make jokes and obviously
compete against each other in a good way. Sometimes they argue with
themselves.
The series takes place at the police station in Brooklyn. The series has 153
episodes and 8 seasons. Some people compare Brooklyn 99 to The Office but
for me, these two series have different senses of humor. I know that some
people who are listening to me right now can hate me but honestly, I don't like
the Office. I'm sorry but for me it is boring.

Now I want to show you the main characters.
From left we have Amy Santiago. Amy is a neurotic, competitive, detective who
desperately seeks Captain Holt's approval. She has 5 brothers and through it,
she has to show the others she is strong and confident. She is obsessed with
mistakes and she loves binders. She has to have everything well-planned and
the binders help her with it.
In the middle, we have Reymond Holt who has a captain. He is the first African
American homosexual police captain. Holt is known for his stoic attitude
toward life. He is married to Kevin Cozner, a professor of classics at Columbia
University. Also, he has a puppy named cheddar. His motto is „productivity is
what makes things fun”.

Next, we have Rosa Diaz, Rosa is a tough, intimidating detective; most of the
99th precinct is afraid of her. She takes pride in being very private and her
colleagues know almost nothing about her. Even her coworkers aren't sure
what rosa’s name is.
She used to do ballet and gymnastics as a child.
She also went to medical school; she also has a pilot license. Rosa is pretty
mysterious.

Next, we have Charles Boyle who is obsessed with strange and unusual food.
He is the type of romantic man. Charles is looking for true love but has a
problem with that. He had a wife who didn't love him and now he lives in her
basement.
Next, we have Gina Linetti, she is Captain Holt's assistant. She acts cool and
disinterested in the people around her. Mostly she pays attention to her phone
and social media. Gina is overconfident and treats coworkers with no respect.
Gina knows best XD. She is always right. Also, she loves dancing, she has her
own dance group. Her favorite thing to do is make fun of Amy.

Terry Jeffords, we can know him from America’s Got Talent. For real his name is
Terry Crews. In the series is a sergeant. He is a family man, he has a wife and
twin daughters. He works out frequently and is very strong, but used to be
extremely overweight and still has some issues with food.
Terry loves yogurts, and coworkers often try to bribe him with yogurts. Also, he
is kinda weird because speaks of himself in the third person. This is funny
because he is huge, very strong man but acts like a teenager. Despite of that
terry is a very responsible person.

And for the end, we have the main character, jake Peralta. Jake is a skilled
detective but often acts like a child. His favorite film is Die Hard, which he
references frequently. He has a best friend, Charles Boyle, and generally, they
solve cases together. Jake rarely takes things seriously, even in the face of
danger. When he was a child, his father left him, and now he keeps mentioning
it. Jake treats captain Holt like his dad and finds approval.
