Security will be provided by our SCV Camp along with an officer from the Brandon Police Dept. An armed
security guard from the Brandon Police Dept. will stay overnight with your prized possessions. Your relics will
never be alone from the time you arrive until the time you leave!

Dear Vendors,
We are hosting our Eleventh Interactive Civil War Relic Show in Brandon, MS, on June 10th
and 11th, 2023. This show will be held at City Hall. That means parking for 375 cars (the city has
expanding the parking lot), a huge room, and it is centrally located in the tri-county area of Hinds,
Rankin, and Madison county - with a population of half a million people. The unemployment rate
was less than 4%. When people are working, they have money to spend! We are going to
advertise heavily in the area. We are mailing 140,000 fliers, using 9 radio stations, 2 TV stations,
print ads, Facebook, and other social media platforms, putting up banners, yard signs, and yes, I
am expecting a large turnout. At our last show we had about 2,000 This year we are planning for
2,500 people to visit the show. Proceeds form the show go to The Wounded Warriors of MS!
Vendors can enter the room to set up from 1pm-7pm on Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10th,
from 6am-9am. At 4:00pm on Friday we will have dinner & musical entertainment for the vendors
as well as the SCV & OCR members and their families. Coffee & donuts will also be available to all
vendors and those helping with the show Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. Doors open to
the public Saturday at 9:00am and close at 5:00pm. Sunday show hours will be from 9:00am-
3:00pm. We are asking that all vendors please stay set up until at least 3pm and at that time you
may exit through the rear door, not the front! Many sales in previous years were made in the last
two hours of the show; after Church! Vendor sales continue to increase 5 to 10% year over year!
Friday evening and Saturday morning, we will help you bring in your displays and Sunday, we will
help you load up your displays that afternoon. We hope you will help us make this event even
more successful than our last show. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to

P.S. The vendors from our last show did really well and we are increasing our advertising this year!

P.S.S. We are limiting the # of tables to 270. This limits the competition for the 2,500 people
coming into shop. We will assign placement of your tables according to when we receive
payment. The earlier you pay the better placement you will receive. Remember to let us know
if you need electricity! Bring a jacket, our AC works!
