2 MAINTENANCE

EVERY WEEK OR 50 H

7 6 • Grease the rear axle bolster pin 6.


• Grease both central articulation pins 7 and 4
pins of the steering cylinders.
• By hand twist and move both drive lines 3 & 4,
to check that there is no wear on the U-joints.
Make sure all bolts are in place and tighten.
Grease u joints and splined shaft.
• Test the emergency/parking brake efficiency
(refer to operator’s manual).

• visually check tyres 1, look for damages.


• make sure the nuts 2 are correctly tighten
• maker sure the lock ring 3 is correctly in place.

BRAKE CYLINDERS ADJUSTMENT

3 BRAKE CYLINDERS ADJUSTMENT

• Start the Diesel engine, lift up the machine


using stabilizers until there are no tyres in
contact with the ground.
S 3 2 4 • Release the brakes by pulling the red know.
• Make sure that the tramming charge pressure
1 reaches a minimum of 15 bar. Read the 0 - 60 b
gauge at the tramming compartment. The spring
S must be now fully compressed.
• Remove the cap 1 together with the light spring.
• Undo the lock nut 2.
• Screw in the adjusting nut 3 until you feel a light
resistance when you try to rotate the wheel by
A hand. That indicates that the brake disks start to
be in contact.
• Apply the brakes.
• Tighten the lock nut 2. When tightening the lock
nut make sure not to rotate the adjusting nut 3.

Replace axles and drop gear oil.
