WHY MANDING IS SO IMPORTANT?

As human, constantly have wants and desires to fulfill.

Hungry? We want food. Thirsty? We want water. Bored?

We want some entertainment. Clearly, it would be no
different for a child.

Help to development communication skill

Manding is the skill of asking for something we want. From

that, we can establish teaching language and transfer

naturally as a communication.

It reduces problematic behavior

It can be frustrating for both parents and the child, when

children are unable to express their desired actions or

obtain the object, they tend to whine, cry, scream, or

engage in inappropriate behavior. Manding assists the

child in communicating using words, sign language,

PECS, or gestures.
