PROVINCIAL INFORMATION OFFICE (PIO)

MANDATE

The Provincial Information Office (PIO) is empowered to maintain linkages for transparency with various departments/offices of the Provincial
Government of Albay, government-line agencies, media and other sectors to ensure a comprehensive delivery of relevant, adequate and timely
information pursuant to R. A. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991)

VISION

To be led by a creative and diverse workforce that consitently delivers current and timely information,understands the various information
demands of people, and is passionate about information communication technology innovation and strategies.

MISSION

To ensure that all information regarding PGA PPAs are widely disseminated to all Albayanos thereby creating a well-informed citizenry

ABOUT THE SERVICE


For purposes of serving the public, the Provincial Information Office provides information and research data required for the delivery of the basic
services and available adequate facilities so the public will aware of the said services and may avail at the same.

The Office observes the regular office hours as prescribed by Civil Service Laws.

Office Hours 8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m (No Noon Break)

The Provincial Information Office provides information regarding/relevant to/ and involving the Provincial Government of
Albay in the form of press releases, photo, downloadable information, etc..upon request of walk-in/phone-in/texting
clients. In sum, the office provides information services and media sponsorships.
