Before we dig deeper into the lesson that I prepared for you today, let
us go back to “The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant. Let us see if
you genuinely understand the selection. Let’s have a story-telling
chain first. I have here a necklace that I am wearing, and I’m going to
start the story. I’ll be passing on the necklace to one of you, and you
will continue the story. That person will put on the chain again to
another one and so on until the story ends. Is that clear? Don’t worry.
