Assignment

You are a Team member working with the Strategy Division of NSDC. The Ministry of Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship requires you to create a skill development program to equip youth with future skills for a
particular State in India. (You may choose a State of your choice.)

As a Team member, you are required to make a presentation and present a proposal to the MSDE with an overall
outlook towards such a program with a clear focus on the following aspects.

➢ The scenario of Vocational education in India and the State of your choice
➢ Depicting the key salient features of the program
➢ Suggest a strategy to identify a potential location within the state to run the program.
➢ Process/strategy for identification of key trades to be imparted
➢ What should be the unique features/value addition to stand against existing NSTIs, Training Partners,
and other competitors, etc.?
➢ Strategy to monitor the program and assess its impact for a pilot of 3 batches with 30 students each.
