I am With My Determination

Making me feel lose out of breath; drowning,

The actinic lights send a spectrum to my goal,

Flapping my body like the gills of a fish to keep on moving,

Sending my body to jiggle to make my life whole.

The raging waves of the sea that keeps you calm,

I call it home; my workplace –

the place that unfastens your qualm,

Obscured in the abyss yet for my kin’s pace.

Thy silently listening smile my songs would swell in melodies,

Free as waves, free from all bondage of words,

I may struggle with my world with my abilities,

Hands are ignorant of forceful currents as I heard.

Entangled my life to this kind of world swayed by the Earth,

Ocean drifts where I risk life and limb for sine qua non,

I may be young and old with a cold in birth,

Every day this is my story of determination – I am a fisherman.
