Are test scores the only way to judge the competency of a student?

"Tomorrow is my exam, but I do not care because a single sheet of paper can not decide my
future." This quote was said to be from the famous scientist, Thomas Edison. Every human
being has the capabilities and talent in which they could use in order to build up themselves in
the right path and career that they have chosen in the future. Their capabilities and knowledge
should not be majorly based on their test scores at the end of every grading. A test provides
feedback about student’s learning and it helps teachers decide what to do next. But some
aspects are not reflectd in a test, it should not be a basis for a student’s intelligence. A student
that did not finished her education can do great things in life and may have the power to
change and make the world a better place. Standardized tests are very common in our society,
it became a hot topic due to its nature. Some people do agree that tests are the basis for the
competency of a child and some people do not becasue they believe that a tests provoke stress,
and a negative thinking. Those people who do agree with

As someone who is always competitive and does not want a failing grade, tests results to high
pressure among ourselves. Whenever we see our low scores, we highly overthink about the
outcomes if it.
