4.1 Introductory Activity Drill: Show pictures of food items.
5 minutes When I show an object, measured by gram, clap your hands once, if an object measured by
kilogram, clap your hands twice.

Review:
Show pictures as shown below. Let us compare the foods item being weight.

Ask: Which food/vegetables are heavier? Which food/vegetables are less?

Sing “ Among Balay “


4.2 Activity Present the word story.
10 minutes Si Ana og Rosa namalit og prutas sa merkado. Nipalit si Ana og
500 grams ( g ) nga apple ug si Rosa nipalit og 3 kilogram ( kg )
nga strawberry.

Say: the apples weight 500 grams ( g ) while the strawberry weight 3 kilograms
( kg ).
Ask: Which are heavier? Apple or strawberry ? Why?
Group activity:
Group 1: Compare the object in each set . Check the one that is heavy, cross out the one that is light.

Group 2: Look at the picture. Compare the fruits and vegetables in each set. Put a happy
face to the one that is heavy and sad face to the one that is light.
