Our beloved institution's 2022 Summa Cumlaude, Mr.

Jerico De Ocampo, was invited to present at the Alumni Cares,

Alumni Talks webinar for our Teaching Internship on the very first

day of February 2023.

He is unquestionably an inspiration to everyone as a

university alumnus who graduated with the best distinction. The

webinar was nothing but encouraging remarks that actually

encouraged us, the graduating students, to go hang on tight as we

raced to the finish line of our studies. Personally, as I was listening

to Jerico's words of encouragement, I became really upset, especially

when he described the time his father died. Maybe I couldn't picture what would happen if something happened

to me because my parents are my primary support system. As a result, I was moved when he mentioned the

difficulties he faced while completing his studies. He was certainly walking on the most difficult road.

Furthermore, while he discusses his problems, I can't help but reflect on the trials and tribulations I had to go just

to get to where I am now.

In general, the webinar was good, and I felt it to be a therapeutic discourse because I could relate to some

of the things he brought up during the webinar. I also gathered a mountain of advice and instructions on what I

should prioritize, especially now that our long-awaited graduation is approaching. Finally, because Jerico has

inspired me in some manner, I'd want to send him a little letter, especially because his LET exam is quickly

approaching. He will surely pass the board exam, and while he will not top it, he has already proven himself to

be an achiever, and he does not need to bow to the pressure of those who have great expectations for him.
