He is a graduate of BIT school of Electrical and Computer Engineering in fall 2012. Dawit was my student
in three of my postgraduate classes Eeng 6061 Transmission and Distribution Engineering, Eeng 6063
High- Voltage Engineering and Eeng 6052 Power Sysrtem Planning and Reliability where he achieved a
high grade of A, A+ and A respectively. He has done an excellent result in “Bahidar II substation
planning” project. He has a capability to work independently and as a member of a research team.

During the project, Dawit demonstrated the ability to work independently with creativity and
enthusiasm as well as effectively lead a team of 8 project fellows.

Dawit was a class representative for that batch. His role as class representative was effective during
organizing the renewable energy lab and class room. His collaboration with the graduate coordinator
accomplish astonishing result.

Dawit Adane is clearly the best student that I have worked with in the past few years. I strongly
recommend him for a PhD program from AASTU. He will be an asset to any University he joined
