PERSONALITY PROFILE

IAN SOMERHALDER

Ian Somerhalder is an American actor, model and director, best known for playing Damon Salvatore in The
CW's supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries.. He was born on December 8th 1978, in Covington, Louisiana,
United States.

Ian Somerhalder is the philanthropist and humanitarian who is deeply concerned about the state of the world,
for which he has great compassion and idealism. He has a utopian personality, and will spend her life trying to
realize some aspect of her utopian dream, sacrificing money, time, and energy for a better world.

Ian Somerhalder has a romantic personality, but his love is more impersonal as he tends to be focused on
her dreams instead. He is full of energy, always on the go, fidgety, and quite hyperactive. Life is in a constant
motion for him and he devours it powerfully.

He has great ability to put thoughts into action, and there is no wait once he sets his mind on something. Where
others tend to think or dream, Ian already takes action while radiating energy, enthusiasm, and livelihood
around. His physical stamina is strong, and he loves mental and physical exercise. Ian Somerhalder keep
himself physically or mentally busy at all times, and he feels better spending time outdoors and eating natural
foods.
He is often disappointed by the realities of life: the shortcomings of others, or of his own self’s.
Somehow, Ian Somerhalder does not want to accept the imperfections of the world, a feeling that drives
him constantly to try to improve upon it. But rather than be satisfied with his efforts, and those of others,
Ian relentlessly pushes on, striving for greater accomplishments. He is often unsatisfied with the results.
In short, Somerhalder lacks the perspective that would otherwise make it possible for him to enjoy life
more fully, and accept its natural limitations.
Ian Somerhalder has a controlled enthusiasm and the ability to finish what he starts.
A key to Ian’s personality is the necessity of sacrifice. Ian has to learn to let go of material possessions
and relationships, the inherent lesson being that holding on too tightly to anything causes pain.
