Vice President | Executive Leadership Team
The Baby Fold, Normal, IL, April 2016 to Present
Providing executive leadership to The Baby Fold, a child welfare agency with a $21 million annual operating budget
and eight locations serving 28 counties in Central Illinois.
Serving as the public face of the agency, attracting record levels of new funding and new strategic partnerships.
Overseeing development, public relations, marketing, and program funding functions. Managing all media and
successfully elevating the mission. Facilitating growth for community-based prevention programs. Leading the
Diversity Equity Inclusion and Christian Life initiatives. Coordinating pandemic response. Setting vision for the
future in collaboration with leadership, board, and staff.
Key Accomplishments

 Transformed the agency’s development function, securing $25M+ in cash, assets, and future receivables
within six years with no capital campaign; $3M more than was raised in the 20-year period prior to my hire
 Preserved, shaped, and enhanced the agency’s reputation with advanced public relations skills
 Managed all aspects of marketing, fundraising, and large-scale community events
 Adapted strategic plan tactics to push key initiates forward despite global pandemic, recessionary pressures,
leadership changes, and staffing shortages
 Guided a successful cross-agency COVID-19 response, opened new supply lines, trained remote staff, sent
weekly updates to employees, and pushed out critical health information to community and clients

train, and oversee 1400+ volunteers annually, bringing resources and network to the agency

Child Protection Network, Bloomington, IL March 2014 – April 2016
Successfully created and implemented the first development and public relations function in the agency’s history,
bringing new levels of funding and public interest to their mission.
Served as the agency’s spokesperson to elevate the Children’s Advocacy Center and the Court Appointed Special
Advocacy (CASA) Program. Aggressively advocated for youth in care. Responsible for building all systems related
to private fundraising initiatives, marketing, and media relations. Identified and cultivated prospective donors,
planned campaigns, and authored solicitation letters, newsletters, and print material. Created impactful marketing
plans. Spearheaded volunteer recruitment initiatives. Planned large fundraising events and chaired board committees.
Recruited the agency’s first accountant and established proper financial controls.

campaigns, management and supervision of the sales and telemarketing teams. Note: Business Builders Marketing
became a division of Flatlander Industries in 2003.

management and growth of the Glendale Heights, IL, office location. Charged with training managers across a ten-
branch district in the Chicago suburban area.
