Precise Introduction of SAP Cloud Connector
Cloud Connector is an application that can be installed on a Windows, Linux, Mac OS
operating system, which creates a secure connection to the SAP “cloud”, so that SAP
Cloud products can communicate securely with systems in a customer’s on-
premise/private cloud landscape.

Prerequisites:
1. Cloud connector access.
2. BTP account access.

Step By Step Configuration of SAP Cloud Connector

Step 1- Login to your SAP Cloud Connector.

Step 2- Click on Connector Tab and then click on +Add Subaccount button.

Step 3- Goto your BTP account and then click on your subaccount where you want to
connect your SAPCC.

Now here you can see no cloud connector is connected.

Step 4- Click on Overview Tab and note down the Subaccount ID and Region as we
will use this in cloud connector.

Step 5- Goto your Cloud Connector and fill the details there. Select your region where
you BTP subaccount exists, In Subaccount put your BTP Subaccount ID, Login Email use
your BTP login ID and password and fill the description and hit Save button.

Step 6- Here you can see BTP subaccount has been added.
Also see at Status column it is showing Orange, it is because we did not allow any resource
yet.

Step 7- Lets Map our S/4HANA system. On CloudTo On-Premise Tab Click on + button
to add virtual mapping.

Here in Internal HOST and PORT enter your SAP S/4HANA address.

Internal HOST without HTTP as we already selected it in previous step.

Now setup Virtual Host.

Virtual host will mask your system address and in BTP it will work as local address so put it
as per your wish/your basis guide lines.

Select principle as for now I am selection NONE.

Host in Request Header select Use Virtual Host as we will use virtual host in BTP to access
S4.

Enter your description.

In last uncheck Internal host and click on Finish.

Step 8- Here you can see our mapping is added. Now click Check Availability Icon if
everything goes perfect you will Reachable in Green like below.

Step 9- Lets Add the resource now. For this click on + button on top of the Resources
Of dev.virtual.host:8000. Add path which you want to use outside the sap like for odata,
webservices and other and for public just put “/” in URL Path.

Here check Path and All Sub-Paths and Active.

As for my case I want to use below paths so I added them.
